The rules
Terms of use
Simple rules for using Rootpad. By using the site, you accept these rules.
What Rootpad is
Experimental software that connects your wallet to public contracts on Robinhood Chain, to create and trade meme coins. This version only runs on the test network (chain 46630), with test ETH that has no value. Rootpad does not hold your funds or keys. The contracts are immutable and not yet audited.
Risks
You can lose money, even all of it. The Root vault is not a guarantee or insurance. Not financial advice. Read the Risks before you use it: they are part of these terms.
Your wallet
You are responsible for your wallet and seed phrase. We never ask for it. Transactions are irreversible.
Creating a coin
Whoever creates a coin is its issuer and is responsible for it. Forbidden: fraud, wash trading, coordinated pumps, misleading claims about the vault, third-party brands (including Robinhood and HOOD) and illegal content. Rootpad may hide a coin's page on the site, but cannot change the contract.
Third-party content and reports
The name, symbol, description and image of each coin are written by whoever created it and are stored in the contract, on the blockchain. Rootpad does not write them, does not check them before they appear and does not approve them. If you see a coin with illegal content, a third-party brand (including Robinhood) or wording that suggests it belongs to Rootpad, tell us in the Rootpad Telegram group (not published yet), with the contract address and what is wrong. A person reads every report and decides. If Rootpad hides a coin's page on this site, the page then shows the reason. The decision is always made by a person, never automatically. Hiding the page does not change the contract: the coin stays on the blockchain and can still be used on the network explorer. Whoever created the coin can ask, in the same group, for the decision to be reviewed.
Buying, selling and redeeming
Fees, including the anti-sniper fee, and the absence of exemptions are shown on each coin's page and before every transaction. Every transaction has a minimum set by your price tolerance: if the result is worse, the transaction is cancelled.
The Root vault
The vault is not a guarantee, minimum price, insurance or investment. It gives no voting, profit or refund rights from Rootpad.
No advice; Dig is AI
All information is general, never personalised. Not financial advice. Dig is an AI agent and can be wrong.
Site access
The site may be unavailable. The contracts keep working without the site and can be used directly on the network explorer.
Language
These terms are published in English.
Privacy
What the site sees and where the data goes, in plain words.
- The site has no accounts, no cookies and no analytics.
- When you connect a wallet, the site sees your public wallet address, in your browser, to read balances and prepare transactions. Rootpad has no server of its own that stores it.
- To read the network, your browser talks directly to the public Robinhood Chain RPC, which receives your IP and the requests (including the wallet address, when connected).
- The site host (Netlify) sees your IP and logs technical requests.
- The site's fonts and scripts are served by the site itself: we do not use Google Fonts or other third-party services for that.
- Coin images are links chosen by their creators: they come from servers chosen by those creators or from IPFS (through ipfs.io), which receive your IP.
- When the Fungi scanner is connected, your browser sends it the address of the coin you are viewing and the address of the wallet that created it (for the "Creator history"); the coin list and the Metrics page also ask it for general data. The site does not send it the address of the wallet you connected (unless you are viewing a coin you created). The scanner receives your IP and uses it only to limit abuse, in memory.
- Fungi and creator history: the Fungi indexer reads the public events of the Rootpad contracts and the pool. For each wallet that created coins, it shows only facts about those transactions (coins created, token sales and transfers, redemptions, fees withdrawn), each with its transaction and date. For each coin's risk signals, it also analyses the public transactions of buyers and sellers (for example, wallets linked to each other) and shows numbers per coin, not profiles of people. The source is the public blockchain. There are no scores about people and no automated decisions: nothing is blocked or hidden based on this data. If you think a fact is wrong, or the wallet is yours and you do not want the page to show facts about it, tell us in the Rootpad Telegram group.
- Rootpad's Telegram group and channel: the moderation bot Rose (@MissRose_bot), run by another company, receives the group's messages and the name, username and numeric Telegram ID of whoever writes, to delete spam, links and scams and enforce the rules. What Rose and the admins do (deleted messages, warnings, bans, reports) is logged in a private channel that only whoever runs Rootpad sees, for 90 days at most; then it is deleted. If one of these log entries is needed for an incident or a complaint that is still open, we keep only that entry, and only until the matter is resolved. In the group, Dig only receives the commands and the replies to its messages.
- Dig, on Telegram, sends your questions to Anthropic to write the answers: see "Dig (Telegram)" below.
- Your browser (localStorage) only keeps preferences: theme, price tolerance, the last wallet used and the notice confirmation.
Questions or requests about your data: in the Rootpad Telegram group, not published yet. We never ask for your seed phrase, keys or ETH.
Dig (Telegram)
Dig is Rootpad's Telegram bot, an AI agent: it can be wrong. It answers questions about Rootpad coins and prepares the "Launch with Dig" link. The bot's /privacy command says the same, in short.
What Dig receives
- Your numeric Telegram ID: used to count how many questions you ask (limits per minute and per day).
- Your Telegram app language: used to answer in Portuguese or English.
- What you write to the bot: commands, coin addresses and questions and, in /launch, the name, symbol, description and image link of the coin you want to create.
- Telegram also passes your profile name and username to the bot. Dig does not use or keep them.
- Dig never asks for your wallet, keys or seed phrase, and does not link your Telegram to any wallet.
Where the messages go
- Telegram: it is the platform where the conversation happens, with its own rules. The conversation stays in your Telegram until you delete it.
- Anthropic: it writes the /ask answers. For that, Dig sends it the text of your question and the coin's public data (including the name and description written by whoever created it). It does not send your ID, your name or your username. /launch sends nothing to Anthropic. Don't put personal data in your questions.
- Dig makes no automated decisions about you, builds no user profiles and shows no ads. Using Dig is optional: the site works without it.
How long
- Questions and answers: Dig does not write them to disk or to its logs. They stay in the bot's memory only while it answers.
- At Anthropic, questions and answers are deleted within the period set by Anthropic's API rules: today, up to 30 days. Anything Anthropic's safety systems flag as breaking its usage rules can be kept for up to 2 years.
- Question limits: only in the bot's memory; they are lost when the bot restarts.
- /launch: what you type stays only in the bot's memory, for at most 15 minutes, and is deleted when you get the link or cancel.
- Technical logs (date and time, a code derived from your ID, the coin address, the language and technical data about the answer): 30 days; then they are deleted automatically. The code is computed with a secret key: your ID does not appear in clear.
To ask us to delete your logs, or for any question about Dig: in the Rootpad Telegram group, not published yet. Give your numeric Telegram ID; we need nothing else and never ask for your wallet.
